Bali guarantees every visitor an amazing experience. You can find spiritual balance or relax at at one of the wonderful beaches, dive in coral reefs, or climb an ancient volcano. A real tropical paradise with its mountainsides, dense jungle filled with the smell of orchids, hibiscus and bougenvillea, beaches that are black under the hot sun in the north, and blindingly white in the south. You will have an amazing chance to get to know the rich culture, art, traditions and beliefs of its natives.
The major towns on the island are three. Denpasar, the capital, is on the south coast, and it is the business and administrative centre of the island. It contrasts with the hindu temples, the green terraced rice fields and the stunning beaches. Singaraja is a port town located in the west part of the island, and Ubud – west from Denpasar – with its stores, museums, and galleries is known as the cultural centre of Bali. Owing to its rich history, culture, dances, sculpture and paintings, beautiful beaches, nature and tropical climate, Bali is regarded as one of the most beautiful places on Earth. With its tens of thousands of temples and pagodas, Bali is also known as “The Island of a Thousand Temples”.
The picturesque and colourful views, combined with the unique culture of the natives, as well as the historical and archeological sights are a very good reason to regard Bali as a heaven-on-earth spot!
